Dale J. Block, MD, CPE is board certified in Family Medicine and Medical Management. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at The Ohio State University and his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He completed 2 years of General Surgery training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan before he completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Block has been a licensed, practicing family physician for 23 years. He has achieved success in private practice, academia, corporate medicine, and in the health insurance industry. Dr. Block was previously a medical director and clinician for West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh, PA. Most recently, he was recruited to serve as the Chief Medical Officer for Nature Coast Regional Hospital in Williston, FL.
Dr. Block has taught undergraduate and graduate students in Health Management Systems at Duquesne University. He has authored two textbooks on health care management as well as several publications and abstracts.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Physician Executives.
