Dr. Carl Goodchild, III is Board Certified in Family Medicine.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his Doctor of Medicine from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.  After completing an internship in surgery, he completed a residency in Family Medicine and was Chief Resident at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.
 
Prior to joining HealthPoint, Dr. Goodchild practiced Family Medicine and was Medical Director of the civilian contractor physicians at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Dr. Goodchild is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
