Satish Dholakia, MD, FACS

Dr. Satish Dholakia is certified by the American Board of Urology.  He earned his undergraduate, medical, and post-graduate degrees at M.P. Shah Medical College at Saurashtra University in India.  Dr. Dholakia completed Surgical and Urology training at the Irwin Group of Hospitals in Jamnagar, India; Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York; and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., where he also finished a Fellowship in Renal Transplant.  Thereafter, Dr. Dholakia was a Staff Urologist at a regional hospital and veterans medical center, and an Assistant Professor of Surgery (Urology) at a state university.  Prior to joining HealthPoint, Dr. Dholakia practiced Urology in Kentucky.

Dr. Dholakia is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and an active member of the American Urological Association and the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association.  He is also on the board of the American Cancer Society’s Southeast Hillsborough Unit.  His clinical interests include kidney stones, enlarged prostate, and urinary incontinence.
