Kiran Majmundar, MD

Dr. Kiran Majmundar is dual Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.  He earned his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Barodo in India.  Dr Majmundar completed internships at Shree Sayaji General Hospital (SSGH) in Baroda and Cook County Hospital in Chicago.  He completed residencies in Internal Medicine at SSGH, St. Louis University Hospital in Missouri, and Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital (LAWMH) in Chicago.  He also completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at LAWMH and Sinai/Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Majmundar is proficient in all GI procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, liver biopsies, and abdominal paracentesis.  He has extensive experience in treating GI disorders of the esophagus and stomach, inflammatory bowel disease, and diseases of the liver and pancreas.  He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
