Giselle Ghurani, MD

Dr. Giselle Barreau Ghurani is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and a Master of Science in Biophysics and Physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.  She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Florida, where she also completed her internship, residency, and Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Jackson Memorial Medical Center.  She was Assistant Professor through the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Miami School of Medicine, where she was active in research involving minority groups and the development of gynecologic cancers.  Her clinical interests include the prevention and treatment of gynecologic malignancies, treatment of preinvasive diseases of the lower genital tract, and cancer prevention.  She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
