Deborah Albert, MD, FACS, FAAP

Dr. Deborah Albert is Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery.  She received her undergraduate degree and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.  She completed her internship in General Surgery at the University of California Center for the Health Sciences in Los Angeles.  She completed residencies in General Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she also conducted research on Gastrointestinal Hormones.  She completed a Pediatric Surgery residency at The Montreal Children’s Hospital in Quebec, Canada and was an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Florida Medical Association and the Association of Women Surgeons.
